Wicks 18 Inch Stand Fan – WTSF-1857
The Wicks 18 Inch Stand Fan provides strong and refreshing airflow for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, shops, classrooms, and other frequently occupied spaces. The Wicks WTSF 1857 combines a large fan sweep with convenient freestanding operation and practical airflow adjustment. This Wicks Pedestal Fan is a useful 18 Inch Stand Fan Sri Lanka customers can select for everyday cooling. Its versatile design also makes it an Adjustable Stand Fan suitable for different room arrangements.
The Wicks 18 Inch Stand Fan size generates broad airflow, helping circulate air across a larger area than many compact table fans. It can improve everyday comfort during warm weather by keeping air moving throughout the room. The fan is suitable for spaces where a flexible cooling appliance is preferred instead of a permanently mounted wall or ceiling fan.
Five carefully arranged blades help move a steady volume of air while maintaining balanced rotation. This blade configuration supports effective air delivery for personal cooling and general room circulation. The wider sweep is useful when several people occupy the same room, making the fan appropriate for family areas, workplaces, customer service spaces, classrooms, and small commercial environments.
A durable copper motor supports dependable daily operation and consistent blade rotation. Copper motor construction is commonly selected for appliances intended for regular use because it provides effective electrical conductivity and heat management. Keeping the motor housing unobstructed and allowing ventilation around the rear of the fan can help maintain stable performance during extended operation.
Multiple speed settings allow the airflow to be adapted according to the room temperature and personal preference. A lower setting can provide gentle circulation during quiet activities or cooler periods, while medium and high settings deliver stronger airflow when the weather becomes warmer. Straightforward controls make it easy to select the required speed without complicated setup or programming.
The Wicks 18 Inch Stand Fan oscillation function distributes airflow across a wider section of the room rather than directing it continuously toward one location. This is helpful when several occupants need cooling or when broader circulation is required. Oscillation may also be switched off when focused airflow is preferred, allowing the fan to be directed toward a bed, desk, sofa, workstation, or seating area.
An adjustable-height stand allows the fan head to be positioned at a suitable level for different environments. The height can be raised for broader room circulation or lowered when airflow needs to reach a seated or resting user more directly. The adjustable tilt angle provides additional control by directing air upward or downward according to the fan’s position and the room layout.
The Wicks 18 Inch Stand Fan strong pedestal base supports the fan during regular operation and helps maintain stability when the fan head is oscillating. It should always be placed on a level, dry, and firm floor with sufficient space around the base. The power cable should be positioned carefully to reduce the possibility of tripping, pulling, or accidental contact with furniture.
Its freestanding design allows the fan to be moved between rooms whenever cooling requirements change. Users can place it in a bedroom at night, move it to a living room during the day, or use it in an office or shop when additional ventilation is required. The appliance should be switched off and disconnected from the electrical outlet before it is relocated.
Regular cleaning helps preserve airflow and efficient performance. Dust that collects on the grille and blades can restrict airflow and affect balance over time. Before cleaning, the fan should be switched off and unplugged. The grille and blades can then be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth or brush, while water should never be allowed to enter the motor housing, controls, or electrical connections.
The fan operates from a standard 220–240V, 50Hz electrical supply and has an approximate rated power consumption of 60W. It should be connected directly to a suitable wall outlet. Damaged cables, loose sockets, overloaded extension boards, and wet operating environments should be avoided to maintain safe and dependable use.
For transport and storage planning, the product package measures approximately 59 × 20 × 49 cm and weighs approximately 7.2 kg. The fan is supplied in partially assembled form, allowing its base, stand, protective grilles, blade assembly, and fan head to be packed securely. Assembly should follow the supplied instructions, with every locking ring, grille clip, and fastener tightened correctly before operation.
With its broad 18-inch sweep, five-blade design, copper motor, adjustable height, oscillation, and stable base, this Wicks fan offers convenient cooling for everyday residential and workplace use. Its movable pedestal format provides an effective solution for customers who need flexible airflow without permanent installation.
